Two new board members for PURE Funds AG ...
With Dr. iur. Felix Horber and Marco Fiorini PURE Funds AG gets double reinforcement. The Board of Directors will be expanded from four to five members.
Felix Horber (61), attorney at law, has been Secretary General and Managing Director of Swiss Re since 2007. He began his career in 1993 at UBS, where he held various positions in Legal & Compliance, most recently as Head of Policy & Corporate Governance. He is the author of several books and articles and was a member of the Admission Board of the SWX Swiss Exchange. Between 1986 and 1998, he was a member of the Zug City Parliament and President of the City Council in 1997 and 1998. Felix Horber received his doctorate in law from the University of Zurich in 1986 and has held an Executive Master of European and International Business Law from the University of St. Gallen since 2001, where he is currently a lecturer and instructor in the field of corporate governance. Since 1998, he has also served as a part-time senior judge at the Superior Court of the Canton of Zug.
Marco Fiorini (50) was most recently Head of Country Switzerland at Carmignac and led Carmignac Switzerland Ltd. in Zurich, where his responsibilities over the past ten years included the development and expansion of the Swiss business. Today, Carmignac is one of the leading European players in asset management. With a degree in business administration, Marco Fiorini began his career in asset management at Julius Baer and later moved to Clariden Leu Asset Management AG, where he was Head of Sales and Managing Director. Marco Fiorini holds a degree in Business Administration FH and has completed various further training courses in leadership and sales.
